The First Signs of Pregnancy: I am Pregnant!

You are a week late in your cycle, your tits are so tender you could barely touch anything without crying, your tummy may even feel a bit queasy, and you always feel exhausted even though you have not altered your routine. This could very well be your first signs of pregnancy. You could hurry out and purchase a pregnancy test within a week of your missed period. These inhome test kit are useful and easy to do, but see your doctor for a more reliable answer.

Certainly, the first time you may be expecting could be confused with being sick or even stress. Knowing whether you have morning sickness or the common cold should be considered particularly if you have been attempting to get pregnant, as it is important not to take certain medications if you think you are pregnant. If you think your upset stomach is one of the first signs of pregnancy just take a test to verify your suspicions before you purchase over the counter medications, or make your physician know your concerns at your visit.

Though pregnancy is a very happy time some of the first signs of pregnancy could be somewhat bothering. You might find yourself a somewhat constipated. This is very normal. Some girls escape this inconvenience while others have to endure it. Naturally, adding fiber to your meals could easily fix this concern.

Many women notice a distinct change in the way they smell as one of the first signs of pregnancy. Suddenly, simple household odours that have never affected you before could become overpowering. This symptom is far less annoying than wanting to urinate more often, which is by far the most common symptom that gives away future tip toeing of little feet. In the first weeks of pregnancy it is not the size of the fetus, which makes you want to pee more often, it is the increase in the hormone progesterone being expelled. This increase in hormones will cause a lot of changes in behaviour, which could tip off your mother-in-law right away to your first signs of pregnancy, sometimes even before you were aware of it yourself.

Some females seem to know the moment of conception. If you are one of those who does not have an idea, do not worry your body will tell you rather fast. Your areolas will begin start to get dark, you will feel extremely exhausted or you might not even feel none of the symptoms related to the first signs of pregnancy whatsoever. Every pregnancy, like every baby is an adventure. It is extraordinary, unique and filled with eagerness.

Cherish every moment. Get the best prenatal care and start preparing for your new bundle of joy.

The Fear Of Childbirth, Labour and Pain
www.pregnancyexposed.com

Women who are pregnant for the very first time might be fearful of childbirth, labor and pain.  This fear is completely normal. Although people will tell you that women have been having babies forever and that you will survive and forget about the pain, that’s little consolation when you face the unknown. Some people find that learning all they can about the process will help with that fear.

Fear of that unknown can plague your mind throughout your pregnancy.  Whether you are a proponent of natural childbirth or are planning to have pain medication if necessary, the fear of now knowing how painful childbirth labor pains will be can be frightening.  Some people equate labor to extremely painful period or menstrual cramps.  Others tell you that it really didn’t hurt as much as they expected it to.

People all have various levels of pain tolerance and as such will experience differing opinions on the childbirth labor experience.  The best thing that you can do is to educate yourself.  Reading information in books at bookstores, or at the library as well as researching from the vast amounts of information available online can all help you prepare yourself for the unknown.

Modern medicine can make the pain very tolerable in childbirth labor.  It’s possible to have an epidural as soon as true labor begins and this can take you through your childbirth labor process with you feeling barely any pain at all.  Or, you could find that through breathing and relaxation exercises, you are able to tolerate the pain of childbirth without medication.

Whatever your preference is for how you birth your baby, you will be in good company.  There are many websites, resource books, women’s groups and discussion forums dedicated to any facet of pregnancy and childbirth you can think of.  There are websites dedicated to natural childbirth, planned c-section, vaginal birth after c-section, unassisted birth, and water births and home births. There are videos for download of childbirth footage as well as places where you can read birth stories.

Learning all you can about childbirth labor and delivery can help you to prepare and alleviate your fears of giving birth. Talking to other expectant mothers will reveal that you are not alone in your fears.  Some women have fairly easy labor while others complain that it was excruciating pain.  Most everyone will agree that once you hold your baby, the pain is a distant memory. Regardless of the unknown factors in the process, your outcome of a new, beautiful baby will definitely make the experience worthwhile.

THE IMPORTANCE OF EXERCISE

Hi Mommies-to-be

Exercise is important during all stages of life. But when you are pregnant, exercise can reduce stress, keep your body fit, and help your muscles by reducing physical pains such as leg cramps, back pain, and stomach aches. In the ebook, “Being Pregnant: Everything You Need To Know”, available at http://www.pregnancyexposed.com/ebook.html , you will learn different types of low impact exercise that you can do daily in order to stay fit during your pregnancy.

Walking

Walking is one of the best low impact exercises that you can do when pregnant. You can walk at home, in the yard, around the block, or at the mall if you choose. It is also fun to find a walking partner. Walking will increase strength in the legs, thighs, and back.

Yoga

Yoga is another low impact exercise that you can do in order to stay fit during your pregnancy. Simple yoga poses will allow your muscles to stretch while calming those inner feelings that are causing you stress.

Stretching

Stretching in the morning and at nighttime will help you feel better during the day. You will not get as many leg cramps and you will feel more relaxed. If you sit for most of the day while at work, you should get up every hour or so and stretch so that you can help the blood circulate in your body.

Learn about other fitness routines and exercises that are beneficial during pregnancy by reading the ebook, “Being Pregnant: Everything You Need To Know”, which is available at http://www.pregnancyexposed.com/ebook.html . It is a good resource for those who want to know more about what they should and should not do when pregnant. Knowing how to stay fit will also help you lose those extra pounds after your baby is born. Feel fit for life by exercising and staying healthy.

TODAY’S TIP IS:

COPING WITH STRESS WHILE PREGNANT

Stress affects us everyday at work, at home, and in public places. But when you are pregnant, this stress is no longer affecting just you - it is also affecting your baby. While there have been many studies concerning the affects of stress on pregnant mothers and their babies, scientists are still unsure how stress affects the development of the baby. But one thing is for sure, however, you should reduce the amount of stress in your life in order to make your pregnancy less painful. At http://www.pregnancyexposed.com/ebook.html , the ebook, “Being Pregnant: Everything You Need to Know”, will teach you ways to reduce stress in your life through exercise, healthy eating habits, and relaxation techniques.  Exercise

If you can, try to exercise a little bit each day. Try low impact exercises such as yoga that will stretch your muscles, but will not cause your heart rate to increase too quickly. Taking short walks each day will also help. Ask your doctor before beginning any exercise regimen.

Food

Avoiding foods that are high in caffeine are best when you are pregnant. You should eat foods that are high in folic acid, vitamin B6 and others that will give you and your baby the vitamins and nutrients needed for development. During the first trimester, your baby will develop all of its major organs. Eating a healthy diet will benefit your baby at this point and throughout your pregnancy.

Breathing Techniques

Slow breathing, stretching, and other relaxation techniques will help you feel less nauseous and will also help keep leg cramps, back pain, and shortness of breath to a minimum.

Reducing stressful situations in your life is also recommended. Read the ebook, “Being Pregnant: Everything You Need to Know”, which is available at http://www.pregnancyexposed.com/ebook.html to find more tips on how to reduce your stress levels and have a healthy, safe pregnancy.
